Raf is a Physiotherapist and Performance coaching consultant. Raf graduated from Curtin University in 1999 and soon commenced working as a physiotherapist in private practice with both general and elite sporting populations including stints with the Australian Athletics Team, Perth Wildcats and AIS Hockey Programme.

His Physiotherapy services now focus exclusively on providing gait analysis, footwear prescription, load management and performance advice to runners and triathletes of all ages with a special interest in gait analysis and exercise prescription for children.

Sporting Results: Former World #3 Duathlete; 8*West Australian Athletics Champion; 18 professional Duathlon victories, 2nd 2009 City to Surf (37,52)

Ben Green

Senior Coaching Consultant and Manager (B.Sc Hons; Level 3 IAAF)ben running

Ben is a biomechanics and coaching expert who specialises in running plans for all distances and one on one technique enhancement sessions. He coaches many emerging national/international middle distance runners, as well as recreational athletes of all levels. His athletes have reached high levels of proficiency including countless personal bests, overall race victories and national junior medals. In 2014, one of his junior athletes, Jonas Aranda was selected to attend university at Harvard on a full athletic scholarship and another selected for the world junior championships. Ben brings clients an outstanding record of assisting clients to improve technique and achieve personal goals and milestones.

Thomas Bruins

Coaching Consultant – Triathlon Australia Development Coach, B.E Mechanical (Hons)Thomas Bruins

Thomas is an accredited Triathlon Australia development coach who specialises in helping triathletes reach their personal performance goals.  Thomas’s bachelor in mechanical engineering is channelled through his passion for cycling and his attention to detail for cycling equipment. He offers a wide variety of cycling related services to help athletes enjoy cycling and reach their full potential. His services include Personalised Bike Fitting, lactate threshold and Function Threshold Power (FTP) testing, one-on-one skills development and general cycling related advice.

Thomas’s other passion is the development of junior running. As a lifetime athlete himself, Thomas has run since he was a child and understands the importance of skill acquisition for children. He is an enthusiastic member of the Trackstars Run School coaching team.

Andrea Bell

andrea runningWomen’s Coaching Consultant (Level 2, AA)

Andrea is an Accredited coach with Athletics Australia (Level 2, Recreational Runner), with personal running experience over all distances up to Marathon and Ultra Marathon Trail Running.  As a keen runner herself, Andrea understands the challenges of juggling family, children, work and training commitments, in order to maintain a happy, healthy life balance.

Andrea’s recent coaching experience includes developing and delivering the Front Runner FRESH Women’s Only program, leading the charge at our Front Runner South of the River group sessions and working along side Rafael Baugh as Assistant Coach of our Front Runner “Trackstars for Kids” skill development program.

Andrea specialises in working with runners transitioning from non-runner to runner, via Front Runner’s FRESH Women’s only program for beginners.  Andrea also works with runners on a 1 to 1 basis, focussing on achieving personal goals and milestones and continual development.

Barbara Hosack

Womens Coaching consultant (Accredited Exercise Physiologist – ESSA, MSc Sport and Exercise Physiology, MSc Biomedical Sciences, STOTT Pilates certified, Level 1 UK Athletics Coach)


Barbara is an accredited Exercise Physiologist, with a passion for running and athletic performance. With a keen interest in helping people get more from their bodies, Barbara’s coaching philosophy extends to include a focus on core conditioning, injury prevention (or rehab) and maintaining a good and sustainable life balance.

Barbara’s coaching experiences include consulting to runners who are new to the sport as well as national level endurance athletes in the UK, and providing support through scientific testing (VO2 Max & lactate testing). Barbara is well versed in the training methods that improve performance, both through her previous experience as a lecturer in sport and exercise physiology and through her own running background.
