Running experts Ben Green (Sports Scientist, Level 4 IAAF Lecturer) and Raf Baugh (Physiotherapist, Level 2 AA Distance) stimulate your clinical or coaching practice and enhance your career through an advanced evidence-based workshop helping health professionals and coaches better understand the biomechanics, physiology and psychology of endurance running.

The half-day session will cover:

  • Running Physiology
  • Running Biomechanics
  • Running Footwear
  • Athlete Development Windows (Child to Adult)
  • Load Management and Programming
  • Case Studies: Elite Marathon Programmes

The session is strictly limited to 12 attendees and will be conducted at 2/182 Harborne St in Wembley

Attendees will be presented with certificate of attendance for their PD records.

About the presenters:

Ben Green:

Ben is a trusted facilitator for Athletics WA, Athletics Australia and the IAAF. He is an expert in running physiology and biomechanics and has coached athletes from beginner to Australian representation.

Raf Baugh:

Raf has a unique 360 degree endurance perspective having worked at international level as an professional athlete, physiotherapist and now as a coach. In the past twelve months, three of his coached athletes- Rochelle Rodgers, Nic Harman and Matt Felton have represented Australia at the international level at Half/Full Marathon after years of careful planning and load management.
