Junior Development Squads (10-15 yrs)

The Junior Athletics squads are for girls and boys, who are showing a specific interest in either track sprint or middle distance athletics and/or cross country running.
Sessions are coached by event specialist coaches, Adam Kopp, Raf Baugh & Jacinta Key and are suited to runners who are looking to advance their competitiveness for sprint, middle distance track and winter cross country and/or improve strength during athletics winter season.
TRAINING SCHEDULE:
  • Endurance Squad. Sessions conducted year round 
    • Tuesday Speed 5.30pm WA Athletics Stadium*, Mt Claremont 
    • Thursday Intervals 5.30pm Lake Monger (Dodd Street end) 
    • Saturday Hills & Core 7.30am Front Runner HQ (Harborne St, Wembley) 
  • Sprints squad. 10 week school term programmes
    • Tuesdays Acceleration 5.30pm WA Athletics Stadium*, Mt Claremont 
    • Thursday Speed 5.30pm WA Athletics Stadium*, Mt Claremont
