Welcome to the Front Runner Sports Junior Program.

At Front Runner Sports, our Junior Pathway has been engineered based on a combination of passion for the sport, many years of senior coaching experience, extensive research analysis and most importantly IAAF literature into the ideal progression of Junior athletes to their full potential.

Our goal is to create Australia’s leading junior pathway with a turn key model which helps juniors achieve their personal goals from improved health and fitness through to Olympic representation.

In the Front Runner Sports Junior pathway, children pass through 3 key phases with overlap between each to encourage a smooth and comfortable transition for your child as well as age appropriate training focus and training loads.

The Full Junior Training Schedule for Summer 2018/2019 is available below:

(*) Trackstars are 8 week school term programs (Term 1, 2019 program commences Monday 11th February 2019)
(*) Junior Sprints & Endurance Session run all year round.

After the junior program is complete, junior athletes seamlessly transition into WA’s leading senior elite programs with the Front Runner Elite Endurance and Front Runner Elite Middle distance programs having a proven record of state, national and international success Read more.

As accredited coaches with additional tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy, Sports Science, Strength & Conditioning and Dietetics our Junior Coaching team of Jaz Long, Zac Born, Alex Dreyer, Ben Green, Marc See and myself base our program on a comprehensive understanding of the physical, psychological and emotional development.
