Join the Front Runner coaching team in the unrivalled beauty of West Australia’s South West for a weekend of running to specifically prepare you for a PB in the Melbourne Marathon.

The distance running camp will be based in Dunsborough adjacent to the majestic Meelup Ridge and alongside the beautiful coastal terrain of Geographe and Cape Naturaliste.

Throughout the weekend learn and train alongside fellow runners and coaches with multiple training options to suit all levels of Marathon runner

The details

  • Dates: 3pm Friday 8 September – 12pm Sunday 10 September
  • Location: Accommodation at Norfolk Trails, Dunsborough

Schedule (TBC)

Friday 8th

  • 5.00pm Easy Trail Run ex Norfolk Trails
  • 7.00pm Welcome Pasta Night and mind set Marathon PB talk (Raf Baugh B.Sc Physio, leading West Australian marathon coach)

Saturday 9th

  • 7.00am: Race stimulation progressive long run in your pacing group with nutritional and pacing strategies applied
  • 10.00am: Active Recovery Workshop Old Dunsborough Boat Ramp and coffee stop at Yallingup Coffe Roasters
  • 12.00pm: Lunch ex Norfolk Trails
  • 4.00pm: Pilates, flexibility and self-massage circuit ex Norfolk Trails
  • 5.00pm Optional recovery run/walk ex Norfolk Trails
  • 6.00pm Data Analysis of race simulation run and Nutrition talk

Sunday 10th

  • 8.00am Two options- Adv. group- strength trail run ex. Yallingup OR recovery run on the flat ex. Yallingup
  • 10.00am Post run coffee stop and breakfast
