We are excited to launch our 8th annual Darlington Half Marathon Training Course for 2016. The Darlington Half Marathon is one of Western Australia’s longest standing runs and has developed a cult status amongst running enthusiasts with a challenging course and beautiful semi-rural setting.

As one of our most popular Front Runner courses, we are excited to once again offer the 2016 course in 3 locations! There will be South and North of the River plus City Morning and City Afternoon options to ensure we provide you with expert coaching, as well as convenience to accommodate your work and lifestyle demands.

This Half Marathon training course is equally suited to those looking to run their first half marathon, regular joggers with some fun run experience or regular runners looking to lower an existing personal best with a periodised build up to the event in a fun and friendly training environment.

As always, you can trust our expert coaching team to deliver excellence in knowledge and professional service at all training sessions as you team up with a fun and friendly group of fellow enthusiasts aiming to beat their best! The course will fill quickly so please do not delay in signing up.

For only $239 (inc. GST) per participant you will receive the following:

Flexibility: we offer multiple destinations to suit your busy lifestyle

 1.         City AM & PM

  • Strength Endurance; Monday 5.30-6.45pm Lake Monger OR Tuesday 6-7am TRC
  • 1 x per week Self Directed Easy Run
  • Threshold Run; Thursday 6-7am TRC OR 5.30-6.45pm Lake Monger
  • Endurance; Saturday 7.00-8.45am TRC + Darlington (Week 7)

2.         South of the River

  • Strength Endurance; Tuesday 6.00am-7.00am Deep Water Point
  • 1 x per week Self Directed Easy Run
  • Threshold Run; Thursday 6.00-7.00am Tompkins Park
  • Endurance; Saturday 7.00-8.45am TRC + Darlington (Week 7)

3.         North of the River

  • Strength Endurance; Tuesday 6.00am-7.00am Sorrento SLSC
  • 1 x per week Self Directed Easy Run
  • Threshold Run; Thursday 6.00-7.00am Charles Riley Reserve
  • Endurance; Saturday 7.00-8.45am TRC + Darlington (Week 7)

Community: as Perth’s favourite and most trusted training group, we cater for beginners, fun runners or advanced. Any age and ability!

Great structure: a 9-week, course specific training plan, including 3 supervised sessions per week with expert coaching and guidance. Commencing Monday, January 11th.

Objectivity: have your training pace zones prescribed and reassessed throughout the course to quantify your training and measure your improvement.

Specificity: event specific training sessions throughout the course PLUS a pre-event course review two weeks prior to race day.

Value: 9 weeks for only $239 per person (less than $9 per coached session).
